Ard Na Greine is a semi-detached bungalow, welcoming well equipped bungalow located on the scenic
Skellig Ring overlooking Ballinskelligs Bay in the Iveragh Peninsula. It is situated 15 minutes
drive from Caherciveen on the Ring of Kerry and 15 minutes drive from Waterville famous for its
world renowned golf links and Skelligs Bay golf courses.
Ard Na Greine is attached to the owners residence with its own private access and the holidaymaker
is assured of a warm welcome and complete privacy during the vacation. The house is within one
mile of the Ballinskelligs blue flag safe sandy beach, local shop and village of Dungegan which
boasts a pub, church and the Cill Rialaig art and heritage centre. It is a perfect base from which
to tour the Skellig Ring and Ring of Kerry.
The house has 3 bedrooms one of which is ensuite (there is a separate shower room) and so can sleep
5 people. A cot is also available. There is oil central heating and an open fire with free starter
pack of fuel. Linen is supplied for guests use, hairdryer, TV with DVD and video player, radio and
CD player are available. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooker/oen, microwave, fridge/freezer,
dishwasher, washer/dryer, iron/ironing board, kettle, toaster etc.

Ard Na Greine is located along the famous Ring of Kerry on the Iveragh Peninsula, which is the
largest peninsula in Ireland and has the richest concentration of archaeological sites in Ireland
and the most spectacular variety of scenery in the country, comprising of mountain. rivers, lakes
and sea.
There is plenty of activities in the area including scenic walks and drives, trips arranged to the
Skelligs Rock, horseriding at Heatherhill Stables, pottery, chocolate factory. Cable O Learys Hotel
for music, food and a good pint. Rosies pub for music, drink and craic. Caseys Kitchen in the Cill
Rialaig Art centre for nice lunch. Barbaras coffee shop at the entrance to the beach and much more.
In the mood for a round of golf then drive the 15 minute journey to the Waterville golf links or
Skelligs Bay golf course.

Take the car ferry from Reward Point to Valentia Island, drive through this lovely interesting
island and across the bridge to Portmagee.
Why not visit the many wonderfull sea-food restaurants in places such as Caherciveen, Waterville,
Renard, Valentia and Portmagee.
Because Ard Na Greine is only 5 miles from the main Ring of Kerry Route you can access much more
of this beautiful magical county with towns like Killarney and Tralee. Kerry Airport is only 2
hours drive at most. Return in the evening and relax near your open fire and understand why its
called the Kingdom of Kerry.

How To Get Here
Travel from Cahirciveen along the Cahirciveen-Waterville road for approximately 4 miles, take the
right turn signposted for Ballinskelligs. Travel for 5 miles and just before arriving at Petrol
Filling Station take the right hand turn. Ard Na Greine is located 0.5 miles along this road on the
left hand side.
